Our founding principles

Group Investments was established on the principles of accountability, integrity and ubuntu. Ubuntu is a Zulu word that describes the individual as a part of a greater (inclusive) collective or united whole. It stresses social consciousness and unity.

The founders of Group Investments identified a need that people have to invest their money and experience phenomenal growth. It is however not always possible to be an investor, due to various risk factors and the high capital outlays many investments require.

Our business model

Many people avoid investing in rare coins due to the high investment costs associated with them. People also have the increasing need to invest as part of a group. Many, however, do not have the time to go out and find like-minded investors. For these reasons Group Investments established an investment hub.

The investors who share the investment cost, share the sales proceeds (profit). Profits are split in proportion to each investors percentage input. I.e. you win and I win based on the percentages we put in. Refer to the
example page for more information.

We make it easy for you to deal with like-minded investors.

Definitions

Ubuntu - A Zulu word, literally meaning “humanness.” Ubuntu is a social and spiritual philosophy serving as a framework for African society. Its essential meaning can be conveyed using the Zulu maxim “umuntu ngumuntu ngabantu” that in essence means, “a person is a person through other persons.” The practice of ubuntu is fundamentally inclusive, involving respect and concern for all human beings.

This is truly Ubuntu; shared risks & costs while everybody gains.
